I can describe myself as a mission engineer who is well trained in air defense subjects according to NATO standards.
Until my retirement as a colonel (1993-2022), I served as the National Command-Control Software Section Chief and Radar Evaluation Branch Manager in the Turkish Air Force.
I worked as a systems engineer on a fighter jet project at Ekinoks Software Ltd (2022-2024).
I had a NATO secret clearance while on duty. I have a current National Security Clearance. I also have a green passport with EU visa.
Working in the technical unit responsible for Air Defense System and Software, I gained knowledge and experience in Radar, Command Control (C2) and Tactical Data Link (TDL) in NATO discipline and standards.
I worked on TDL functions in C2 software, and I know the ADA programming language. I also have TDL Management and Planning certificates.
I participated in the Technology Management master's program and presented my thesis titled "Technology Readiness Assessment in Defense Projects and Networks of Excellence".
I took part in the development and maintenance of Defense Software (C2, Radar, TDL) on the customer and defense industry side. I also took part in many defense military projects at technical, tactical and strategic levels.
I received training on Radar, TDL and Command Control software (USA (L3), Italy (Selex), Belgium (EUROCONTROL)) and attended relevant user meetings.
Likewise, by undertaking the acceptance and testing of Radar and C2 systems purchased by NATO, I gained experience from the Supplier perspective in transforming military operational requirements into functional requirements of projects.
I actively participated in the final acceptance processes from preparing the specifications in National AESA and Passive Radars, Sensor and Radio Network and Command Control projects.
For the last two years, I have gained different experiences on how operational requirements can be met by working in an EW company as a system engineer in mission software related to data fusion and data link of the national fighter jet.
