Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of high-quality content aligned with the strategy defined by the Content Strategy Unit.
- Collaborate with the Senior Specialist to facilitate content meetings, solicit contributions from relevant contributors and subject matter experts, and oversee content production.
- Develop, maintain, and document processes for content planning and validation to ensure coordination and efficiency with contributors, translators, and internal clients.
- Write, review, and edit content for consistency, quality, and accuracy, and provide feedback on story pitches to guide fellow Content Developers.
- Assist in creating comprehensive content schedules and communication plans to effectively convey the organization's mission and vision.
- Liaise with content developers to manage translation processes, ensure brand consistency, and conduct story research.
- Coordinate with digital media, social media, and multimedia teams to produce various digital content formats, including website content, social media posts, videos, and infographics.
- Support the updating of the Content archive, External Content Playbook, and External Content style guide while overseeing key tracking platforms like the Story Planner.
- Execute content-focused projects by strategizing with the Content Development team, assigning tasks, tracking deadlines, and monitoring outputs.
- Assist in developing key messaging, executive communication content, speeches, and talking points as needed.
- Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to strategically plan and execute content.
- Manage progress assignments of news articles and lead liaisons with other communication teams to unify message delivery.
- Participate in operational review meetings to discuss task lists and report on the status of existing jobs and projects.
- Contribute to the formulation and development of annual business plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and budgets.
- Provide assistance during audit processes and support the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions identified during audits.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English language, translation, Public Relations, Mass Media, Communication, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of relevant full-time work experience in journalism, translation, or linguistics in a large organization.
- Excellent planning skills, with the ability to establish priorities and complete multiple projects within deadlines.
- Strong time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional writing skills, capable of drafting and editing various written reports and communications, expressing ideas clearly and succinctly; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
