The company is seeking an exceptional Data Management Specialist to play a central role in supporting school improvement across the company's Pre-University Education (PUE) district.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to work at the intersection of education, research, evaluation, and strategic improvement, helping schools and system leaders make evidence-based decisions that improve outcomes for students, teachers, and school leaders.

Reporting to the Director of Ejadah for School Improvement, the Data Management Specialist will lead the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of a wide range of school performance, evaluation, and student outcome data. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, educational leaders, and improvement partners to develop robust analytical tools and generate insights that drive system-wide improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing data collection systems, evaluation instruments, sampling frameworks, and analytical tools.
  • Analyzing complex educational datasets and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Producing high-quality reports, dashboards, visualizations, and performance summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining performance databases, benchmarks, and data repositories.
  • Leading advanced statistical analyses, including factor analysis, structural equation modeling, predictive analytics, forecasting, and attribution modeling.
  • Supporting schools and stakeholders in strengthening their own data collection, management, and evaluation capabilities.
  • Identifying trends and patterns through proactive data mining to inform strategic decision-making.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and intellectually curious professional who combines strong statistical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Research Methods, or a closely related field. A postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in data management, data analytics, psychometrics, performance measurement, educational research, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and applying advanced statistical techniques within research, educational, or organizational contexts.
  • Strong expertise in data capture, data management, data cleaning, quality assurance, and data reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Outstanding report-writing and communication skills.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in:

  • SPSS or comparable statistical analysis software.
  • Power BI or equivalent business intelligence and dashboard-management platforms.
  • Advanced data visualization techniques and dashboard development.
  • Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data management tools.
  • Item Response Theory (IRT), psychometric analysis, and educational measurement.
  • Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis.
  • Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), including knowledge of AMOS or similar software.
  • Predictive modeling, forecasting, and advanced quantitative analysis.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in education, school improvement, educational evaluation, assessment, or research environments.
  • Experience developing performance indicators, benchmarking systems, and organizational dashboards.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Arabic would be a significant advantage.
