About the Role
This position involves overseeing the partnerships framework and strategy for the Center and supporting engagement with partners to identify areas of collaboration and yearly activations. It requires working closely with the Policy and Partnerships Manager to develop policies, enhance the Center's agenda, and promote women's representation in education, workforce, and society through training programs. The role also includes data analysis, policy monitoring, and contribution to research projects related to women's religious education and social development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the partnerships framework and strategy for the Center, facilitating engagement with partners.
  • Assist the Policy and Partnerships Manager in developing policy frameworks and enhancing the policy agenda.
  • Identify and engage key local and regional policy stakeholders.
  • Design and implement training programs to encourage women's participation and representation in various sectors.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, including desk research and field work.
  • Collect data for the monitoring and evaluation plan tracking the performance of policy, partnerships, and capacity-building programs.
  • Aid in the creation and authorship of annual impact reports to highlight the Center's work.
  • Coordinate and participate in collaborative research projects on women’s religious education, leadership, economic, and social development.
  • Contribute to the Center's research profile through literature reviews, research, and public-facing publications.
  • Collaborate with designers and the communications team to prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
  • Work with the Policy and Partnerships Manager and Research Manager to create and activate the Center’s internationalization strategy.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Gender or Women Studies, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Marketing and Communications, International Relations, or Business Management.
  • 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in project implementation, program design, and organizing events of various scales.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in policy research and analysis, preferably with exposure to advocacy or marketing education initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and engage diverse stakeholders, particularly Muslim women, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, enthusiasm, and motivation to foster the Center’s growth.
  • Decision-making ability and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the capacity to draft and edit reports and communications, articulating ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and graphic design tools.
