Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in air conditioning systems using analytical problem-solving skills to ensure proper operation.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all AC systems to avoid unexpected breakdowns and optimize efficiency.
- Replace or repair defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and refrigeration parts.
- Test electrical circuits and components to verify safety, efficiency, and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Clean, inspect, and service air filters, coils, and other critical components to maintain air quality and system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and service work completed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate effectively with other technicians and departments to complete projects efficiently and meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience in commercial, hospitality, or large facility environments.
- Technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration Engineering, or equivalent (ITI certification preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and system schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to professional service delivery.
- Ability to maintain detailed and organized maintenance records and documentation.
- Physical capability to perform field work, including climbing, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver's license for traveling to multiple facility locations within the UAE.
- Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in HVAC maintenance.
- Demonstrated reliability, resilience, and ability to manage emergency situations effectively.
