This exciting opportunity is with Mastercard’s Global Acceptance team. The role focuses on improving customer experiences at the checkout. This critical position involves working at the intersection of customer, product, and engineering, providing extraordinary opportunities for learning, organizational visibility, and career growth. You will solve real-world challenges and utilize your product and engineering skills to create best-in-class checkout experiences for customers including Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Gateways, Acquirers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Merchants.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create customer-driven Solution Proposals and Solution Designs for Mastercard partners to implement and scale acceptance products such as Click To Pay, Secure Card on File, Passkeys, Tap to More, etc., across different regions.
  • Lead the co-design of the checkout experience with Mastercard Product Designers and customers.
  • Conduct technical solution discovery and workshops with customers to design outstanding consumer experiences.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by incorporating feedback into the global product roadmap.
  • Provide expert-level product and technical support to customers implementing solutions.
  • Liaise with the support organization to effectively manage key customer operational and support issues and ensure sales teams are briefed on any issues.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Mastercard Acceptance products.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a solution architect or product manager.
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience integrating APIs/SDKs or similar web-based technologies into existing systems.
  • Collaborative experience working with product, engineering, and UX designers.
  • Background in a B2B customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, high attention to detail, adaptability, and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with limited direction.
  • Experience in the payment industry is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
