About the Job:
The Account Manager is an inside sales role responsible for contract value retention and growth through contract expansion. This includes introducing new products and services and net new account growth. The territory for this role focuses on specific small to medium-sized client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to C-level and senior executives within assigned organizations.
  • Manage and renew member research contracts.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Strategically sell and retain Gartner's advisory services to midmarket or emerging technology organizations.
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a professional setting, preferably in sales with a strong interest in technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of academic success.
  • Proven intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.

Who You Are:

  • Capable of developing and delivering effective presentations to decision makers (C-level).
  • Knowledgeable in the full sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Experienced in managing a geographic territory to exceed quota objectives.
