About the Job:
As an Account Manager within the Telecommunications sector, you will manage one or several larger accounts or take the lead for a significant portion of a top account. Your role will involve understanding the customer's IT and business objectives, priorities, requirements, and challenges, thereby adding value through the implementation of the company's strategy. You will drive business performance across all company Business Units and manage the portfolio mix to optimize account profitability. Additionally, you will be responsible for building the pipeline and supporting deal closing while orchestrating the deal team.

Work Conditions:
This role is designated as ‘Remote/Teleworker’, which means you will primarily work from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a two-way connection between the customer’s core KPIs, business priorities, initiatives, and the plan for IT solutions support.
  • Build and execute a growth and profitability plan across the company's portfolio systematically and recurrently.
  • Engage proactively with customers at higher organizational levels to identify opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop a professional relationship network within customer organizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for the company.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the partner landscape within accounts.
  • Continuously enhance and update expertise in IT technology.
  • Lead and develop the extended account team effectively.
  • Provide feedback to other company organizations and collaborate with customer-facing teams to improve customer experience.
  • Fully own the development and execution of a business plan for defined accounts.

Education and Experience:

  • University or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically, 8-12+ years of account management experience.
  • Experience in the IT industry is required.
  • A strong track record in account management and sales performance is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Drives Results: Demonstrates a strong will to win and persistence in overcoming obstacles, with a clear focus on results.
  • Strategic Planning: Excellent at articulating a future vision and formulating a corresponding account business plan.
  • Sales Execution: Able to efficiently meet short-term sales engagements and objectives.

  • Network/Relationship Building: Highly skilled at creating strong professional relationships at all organizational levels.
