Accountant

About the Role This position involves assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting transactions. The role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of financial processes and supporting the overall financial management of the organization. Responsibilities - Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting transactions. - Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and expense reports. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations. - Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements. - Maintain general ledger entries and update accounting records. - Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. - Support VAT calculations, tax documentation, and compliance with applicable UAE regulations. - Maintain organized financial files and assist with internal and external audits. - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications. - Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage. - Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
