About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations. You will prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting reports while handling VAT accounting, VAT returns, and VAT/tax refund claims in compliance with applicable regulations. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you review supporting documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax refund submissions. Additionally, you will perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

You will also monitor project-related costs, expenses, and financial transactions, particularly in real estate or construction projects. Furthermore, you will assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting, emphasizing compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Coordination with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities will be part of your responsibilities as well.
Key Responsibilities

- Review supporting documents and ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax refund submissions.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor project-related costs, expenses, and financial transactions, particularly for real estate or construction projects.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in Real Estate or Construction is required/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical experience with VAT and tax refund procedures.
- Good understanding of Saudi tax and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English.
