What You'll Be Doing
Accounting:
- Manage & oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and review appropriate ledger accounting data.
- Maintain the general ledger system and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Provide accurate data and recommendations to the controlling team and CFO.
- Ensure all accounting processes align with IFRS and current local financial legislations.
- Complete all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Improve processes and initiate corrective actions.
- Help uniformize processes between all brands at the local level.
- Report P&L and BS to HQ.
Tax:
- Facilitate and manage the preparation of all tax forms (tax returns, income tax, withholding tax).
- Ensure accurate, timely filing of all tax forms.
- Plan for and develop an overall filing calendar.
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
- Assist with the new income tax implementation in the coming months.
- Provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects.
Compliance:
- Collaborate with the controlling team on all compliance requirements.
- Ensure a robust control environment in line with Group standards and policies.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local financial regulations, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in leading month-end and year-end closing, audit coordination, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop an accounting team.
- CMA, SOCPA, or another relevant professional certification is an advantage.
