ACCOUNTING OFFICER

About the Role As a key member of the accounting team, your responsibilities will focus on maintaining the integrity of the general accounts while ensuring compliance with the Financial Control Authority (FCA) and standard accounting practices. This position is designated for Saudi Nationals only. Responsibilities - Control and maintain the integrity of the general accounts in compliance with the FCA and standard accounting practices. - Check the activities of the Cashier when needed for checks and balances. - Monitor treasury activities, including the accounting for money transfers, bank charges, and remittances to the company. - Oversee accounts payable and payroll checks; take responsibility for bank deposits and coordinate all wire transfers and telex payments, ensuring the integrity of these activities before submission to the Chief General Accountant. - Conduct audits to ensure that internal control procedures are implemented effectively and recommend and follow up on corrective measures. - Perform monthly reconciliations for banks and affiliates, addressing any irregularities. - Maintain a monthly trial balance audit file to confirm the accuracy of all balances. - Ensure proper filing and follow-up on all subsidy applications and refunds. - Prepare the monthly fixed asset acquisition report and relay it to the Accounting Manager for approval.
