Position

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial entries and documents. You will organize and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents following established policies and procedures. Your tasks will include recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information, as well as classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers. Additionally, you will complete period-end closing procedures and reports, audit cashier banks according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manage petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts. Communication regarding cash variances will be essential, as will your participation in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes to ensure compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to maintain financial records.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and relevant reports.
  • Audit cashier banks periodically according to SOPs.
  • Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
  • Document, maintain, and communicate all cash variances according to SOPs.
  • Act as a liaison between property and armored car services or primary banking institutions.
  • Participate in audit processes ensuring compliance with SOPs.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a professional appearance and protect company assets.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, ensuring task clarity.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting team goals.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
