Key Responsibilities:
- Data compilation, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Conduct analysis for reserving for technical provisions.
- Perform analysis for pricing and underwriting review.
- Undertake analysis for solvency review.
- Provide support on other actuarial tasks as needed.
- Assist in producing IFRS 17 disclosures and performing reviews and validation against IFRS 4.
- Conduct reinsurance analysis and provide supporting functions.
- Engage in general consulting work to meet client needs.
- Complete any development work assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or any other quantitative coursework.
- Actively pursuing actuarial exams.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with statistical software such as SAS and R.
- Experience working in the GCC / Middle East market is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
