You will work in a varied technical environment that combines Linux and Windows infrastructures, VMware virtualization, Cloud/IaaS, and perimeter security equipment, emphasizing operational aspects and customer service orientation.
Your Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and maintenance of the operational and security conditions of the entrusted infrastructures. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
System Administration
- Administer and operate Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Ensure the creation, configuration, and evolution of system environments.
- Guarantee the Operational Maintenance (MCO) and Security Maintenance (MCS).
- Address customer requests and N2-level incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve system and network issues.
- Ensure the creation, updating, and maintenance of technical documentation.
Operation of Virtual Environments
- Participate in the creation and management of IaaS / OpenStack projects.
- Create, administer, and maintain virtual machines on VMware.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of virtualized environments.
- Implement and maintain observability and monitoring of systems and applications.
- Handle customer requests and N2-level incidents related to virtual environments.
- Document architectures, procedures, and operations performed.
Management of Security Equipment
- Ensure the operation and administration of Fortigate firewalls, particularly in multi-VDOM customer environments.
- Administer and operate perimeter security services.
- Participate in the management of anti-DDoS and Cloudflare protection solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve N2-level perimeter security incidents.
- Respond to customer requests regarding security equipment and services.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date technical documentation.
Automation and Industrialization
- Contribute to the automation of administration and operational tasks.
- Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell/Bash, or Python.
- Participate in the industrialization of deployments and recurring operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and tools.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator, autonomous and problem-solving oriented, capable of thriving in a demanding and multi-client technical environment.
You feel comfortable in production environments and possess a true culture of customer service, troubleshooting, and infrastructure availability.
Education
- A higher education degree in computer science, systems, and networks, or equivalent.
- MCSA / MCSE or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.
- Significant experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience in the administration of virtualized environments and network/security infrastructures.
Technical Skills
- Windows Server and Microsoft ecosystem administration.
- Administration of Linux environments.
- Mastery of VMware and virtualization environments.
- Proficient in common Linux and Windows administration commands.
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language: PowerShell, Shell/Bash, or Python.
- Good understanding of IP networks: VLAN, IPv4, IPv6, routing, NAT, DHCP, etc.
- Experience in configuring and operating firewalls, ideally Fortigate.
- Good understanding of Cloud and IaaS infrastructures.
- Ability to autonomously diagnose system or network issues.
