Role Overview
- Support the installed base through activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, monitoring and diagnostics, and fleet configuration.
- Maintain fleet data and manage outages effectively.
- Includes direct people management responsibilities, such as staffing and performance development, leveraging in-depth technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policies and strategies.
- Possess knowledge of best practices and understand how one's area integrates with others while staying aware of competitors and differentiating factors in the market.
- Utilize judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters for complex manufacturing processes that feature technical varieties and interdependent production cycles.
- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues, lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements, and foster consensus among team members on topics within the field.
- Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA: Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management is required. A knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- For roles in the USA: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is required, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).
