AEM Technical Lead (DXP)

The AEM Technical Leader is responsible for leading technical teams that deliver Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. The role ensures that the implementations are high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable, aligned with organizational and client strategic goals. Key responsibilities include supervising technical execution, mentoring developers, performing architectural and code reviews, and coordinating technical activities to ensure delivery excellence across timelines, governance, and platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main technical point of contact between delivery teams, stakeholders, and client counterparts.
• Resolve technical dependencies, anticipate blockers, and ensure smooth integration across the digital ecosystem.
• Make key architectural decisions while balancing trade-offs among performance, cost, complexity, security, and delivery speed.
• Conduct advanced code reviews and enforce best practices such as SOLID principles, clean architecture, automated testing, and performance optimization.
• Supervise the technical execution of AEM development teams across components, templates, workflows, integrations, and deployments to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Identify and implement improvements in architecture, integrations, and code for optimization.
• Provide continuous technical mentorship and coaching for developers and junior Technical Leads.
• Ensure that all solutions comply with defined security standards, organizational policies, and industry regulations.
• Maintain clear and updated technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, including leadership roles.
• English Proficiency: B2 or higher.
• Core Technical Requirements:
  • Proficient in AEM Sites, Components, Templates, Sling Models.
  • Experience with OSGi architecture and modular development.
  • Familiarity with headless delivery using Content Fragments & GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Manager.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of automated testing strategies and performance optimization.
  • Strong emphasis on secure coding practices and platform governance enforcement.
  • Good expertise in AEM Infrastructure & Caching.

Certifications:
Completion of at least two certifications from the Adobe Experience Manager Certification program is required.
