About the Role
As an Agent Engineer, you’ll design, configure, and improve Voice AI agents that hold real conversations with our clients’ customers. This role involves project ownership, as you will lead client projects from discovery to go-live, build prompts and conversation flows, integrate agents with client systems, and continuously enhance performance based on real calls. You’ll collaborate closely with our Operations, Engineering, and Product teams, acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities
Build & Integrate
- Design and refine prompts and conversation flows that shape how agents speak, respond, and handle complex requests.
- Integrate agents with client systems (e.g., CRMs, booking and ticketing tools) through APIs and webhooks.
- Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new client use cases, managing the process from scoping to demo-ready delivery.
- Test agents across scenarios and edge cases to ensure reliable performance both before and after launch.
Own Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of client projects, encompassing scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, leading requirements gathering, providing progress updates, and managing expectations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and flagging risks early.
Improve & Optimize
- Analyze real calls and transcripts against our quality rubric to identify errors, hallucinations, and recurring failure patterns.
- Transform insights into prompt, flow, and integration improvements and share feedback that informs our product roadmap.
- Contribute to weekly quality reports and assist in evolving our quality standards and best practices.
- Support and mentor interns on prompting and delivery best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading client conversations.
- Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
- Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage projects or deliverables with clear ownership.
