Embark on a journey with the world’s largest international airline and become a vital part of our cutting-edge information and technology team as an Agile Delivery Lead (Airline Operations). As the Agile Delivery Lead, you will perform the role of Scrum Master, developing and leading a high-performing, multi-discipline team, instilling in them a clear vision and a passionate drive. You will be responsible for the daily planning, leading, organizing, and motivating of the scrum team(s) to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outputs that provide exceptional value to business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies while removing impediments/blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
  • Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and assess the Scrum Maturity of the team, coaching them to higher levels of maturity.
  • Work collaboratively with Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify and manage the product backlog.
  • Define and manage a well-defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) are followed and maintain the agile project management tool (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).

Requirements

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a subject related to Computer Science or similar.
  • Certified Scrum Master with 3+ years of practical application of Scrum management discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, with experience in agile delivery within the context of a small/medium technology change program.
  • Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization with global teams for a large organization.
  • Proficient in using software delivery tools (e.g., MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills, focusing on core scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
