As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of initiatives that span vendor-led CAPEX projects, salesforce projects, in-house product enhancements, support releases, and technical debt reduction. You’ll work closely with strategic vendor partners to manage delivery timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring that all integrations between vendor-built systems and the company’s enterprise platforms meet our technical and operational standards.

Responsibilities
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitates agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies removing impediments / blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight the business and how to elicit the most out of self-organisation. Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team. Promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the initiatives and is making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace adhering to the agreed quality management plan with the team.
- Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify and maintain the product backlog; together with the TPO schedules and commits stories into sprints and visualises progress.
- Support the Technical Product Owners in managing business expectations and transparency in both product backlog and schedule for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well-defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management and effectively manage conflict resolution.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed; make sure that each team member is fully engaged in the stories and making a meaningful contribution. Encourage a sustainable pace adhering to the agreed quality management plan with the team. Maintain an agile project management tool (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).
Requirements
- Degree or Honours or equivalent in a subject related to Computer Science or similar.
- Certified Scrum Master with over three years of practical experience applying Scrum methodologies. Existing SDLs transitioning to PMI-ACP certification are exempt from this requirement.
- 5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within the context of a small medium technology change program. Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation.
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery e.g. MSOffice suite JIRA Confluence etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication Skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
