Key Responsibilities
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitate agile ceremonies, e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, removing impediments/blockers to ensure optimal flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values, and assess the Scrum Maturity of the team to coach them to higher levels of maturity.
- Promote team empowerment and ensure each member is fully engaged in initiatives and contributes meaningfully.
- Work collaboratively with Technical Product Owners to refine, clarify, and maintain the product backlog.
- Define and manage processes, championing ongoing process improvement initiatives for Agile Delivery Management.
- Ensure the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DOD) are followed by all team members.
- Maintain agile project management tools (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.) to track progress.
Qualifications
- Degree or Honours in a Computer Science-related field.
- Certified Scrum Master with 3 years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology in agile delivery within technology change programs.
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization with global teams.
- Proficiency in software delivery tools such as MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on openness, honesty, and respect.
