In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating scrum teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outputs that provide exceptional value to end users and customers. You will manage concurrent high visibility initiatives using various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) in a fast-paced environment involving multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review
- Build a trusting and safe environment for problem-solving
- Encourage a sustainable pace adhering to the quality management plan
- Maintain an agile project management tool (e.g., ScrumDesk, JIRA)
- Assist in team development by removing roadblocks and mentoring team members
- Support project expectations and transparency in product backlog and schedule
- Define and manage agile processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Degree or Honours in Computer Science or similar subject
- Certification: Certified SAFe and PMI ACP (desirable: PMI, Prince 2, CSM)
- 5+ years of practical application of Scrum Management discipline
- 8+ years of working experience in Information Technology
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization
- Experience driving Request for Tenders (RFT) from initiation to completion
- Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems
- Strong communication skills and experience using software delivery tools (e.g., ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE, JIRA)
