Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools supporting the Agile framework while coaching team members to optimize the efficiency of the Release Train team.
  • Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach to fit initiatives of all sizes with the appropriate level of planning and balance of agility and predictability based on PMI-ACP principles.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment for team members to raise problems without fear of blame or retribution, emphasizing healing and problem-solving.
  • Lead the Integrated Programme Planning (Lean Start Up), collaborating with portfolio teams to drive and facilitate decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans.
  • Drive Quality ensuring the Definition of Done (DOD) is adhered to while maintaining an agile project management tool (e.g., ScrumDesk, JIRA).
  • Assist in team development by holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks, and mentoring team members.
  • Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and service management for continuous improvements.
  • Define and manage a well-defined process, champion ongoing process improvement initiatives, and ensure required governance and ceremonies are in place for visibility and transparency to stakeholders.
  • Assist with cost estimation and preparing the total cost of ownership with the product team, maintaining actuals within the allocated budget.
  • Support the RFx phases in the procurement process and scheduling of related activities concerning product lifecycle.

Qualifications
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization with global teams for a large organization.
  • Experience in agile delivery within the context of large technology change programs.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Certified SAFe and PMI ACP with 5+ years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
  • Proficient in software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
  • Ability to communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, focusing on core scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
  • Hands-on leader with strong people skills.
