Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, organize, and motivate scrum teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivery.
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, supporting the Agile framework and coaching team members.
- Build a trusting environment where problems can be raised without fear, practicing servant leadership to lead by example.
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning, facilitating decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans.
- Drive Quality by ensuring the Definition of Done (DOD) is followed and maintain an agile project management tool.
- Assist in team development by holding teams accountable for their commitments and mentoring team members.
- Support the Technical Product Manager in managing expectations and transparency regarding the product backlog and schedule.
- Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management.
- Assist with cost estimation for initiatives and maintain budgets accurately.
- Support the RFx phases in the procurement process and related scheduling activities.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization for a large organization.
- Experience in agile delivery within large technology change programs.
Knowledge/Skills
- Certified SAFe and PMI ACP with 5+ years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
- Well-versed in software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to all stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, focusing on core scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
- Hands-on leader with strong people skills.
