Responsibilities
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and help implement appropriate processes and tools supporting the Agile framework.
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles with Agile development approaches.
- Build a trusting and safe environment for teams, practicing servant leadership and encouraging discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning, working with portfolio teams to drive and facilitate decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into a backlog ready for handoff.
- Drive Quality and ensure adherence to the Definition of Done (DOD) by maintaining an agile project management tool.
- Assist in team development by holding teams accountable for commitments and mentoring team members.
- Support the Technical Product Manager and IT Service Manager on service management and continuous improvements.
- Define and manage processes and champion ongoing improvement initiatives for Agile Delivery Management.
- Collaborate with the product team during the procurement process and assist with cost estimation and ownership.
Requirements
- A Degree or Honours in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience within Information Technology.
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization with global teams.
- Experience in agile delivery within a large technology change programme.
- Certified in SAFe and PMI ACP, with additional certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, CSM being desirable.
- Proficient in software delivery tools, e.g., ServiceNow ITBM, MS Office, JIRA, Confluence.
- Strong architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
- Excellent communication skills focused on core Scrum values of openness and honesty.
- Hands-on leader with strong people skills.
