We are hiring a Delivery Manager with strong experience in Aviation Cargo or Logistics to lead large-scale, AI-driven in-house development initiatives. The role also requires proven expertise in managing RFT processes, vendor selection, and end-to-end implementation of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will drive delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and innovation across complex, multi-vendor environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, organise, and motivate scrum teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outputs that provide exceptional value to end users and customers.
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and help put in place the appropriate people, processes, and tools supporting the Agile framework.
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles with an Agile development approach based on PMI-ACP principles.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution and practice servant leadership.
- Lead the Integrated Programme Planning with portfolio teams, driving and facilitating decomposition of Epic Roadmaps into Integrated Program backlog/plans.
- Drive quality and ensure the Definition of Done (DOD) is being followed, maintaining an agile project management tool.
- Assist with team development by holding teams accountable, removing roadblocks, and mentoring team members.
- Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and transparency for all initiatives.
- Define and manage a well-defined process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with cost estimation/sizing for initiatives, maintain actuals within budget, and ensure accurate forecasting.
Requirements
- A Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience within Information Technology with proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams.
- Experience in agile delivery within a large technology change programme.
- Certified SAFe and PMI ACP with 5+ years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline.
- Well-versed in tools of software delivery, e.g., ServiceNow ITBM, MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence.
- Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information to all stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
- Hands-on leader with strong people skills.
- Aviation Cargo or Logistics domain experience is preferred.
