Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and help implement appropriate processes and tools supporting the Agile framework.
  • Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles with an Agile development approach.
  • Build a trusting and safe environment for team members, ensuring a servant leadership style and promoting discussion and conflict resolution.
  • Lead the Integrated Programme Planning and work with portfolio teams to drive and facilitate the decomposition of Epic Roadmaps.
  • Ensure adherence to the Definition of Done (DOD) and promote a sustainable work pace while maintaining quality management.
  • Support team development by removing roadblocks, holding teams accountable, and mentoring team members.
  • Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and enhancing transparency in the product backlog.
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives and implement best practices for Agile Delivery Management.

Qualifications

  • A Degree or Honours (12+3) in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience within Information Technology.
  • Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Experience in agile delivery within large technology change programs.
  • Certified SAFe and PMI ACP, with practical application of Scrum Management.
  • Proficiency in software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, focusing on the core Scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
  • A hands-on leader with strong people skills.
