As the Agile Delivery Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of value for transformative end-to-end Agile client engagements. This role focuses on leading program or portfolio level processes while emphasizing continuous improvement and productivity optimization within globally distributed teams. You will manage the delivery of successful software outputs that lead to significant business outcomes for clients, all while effectively communicating across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
Your Impact
- Establish and govern PMOs, define and track OKRs and KPIs, and provide executive-level reporting to ensure successful delivery of complex transformation programs.
- Lead large-scale, multi-vendor technical delivery programs, managing cross-project dependencies, sequencing workstreams, and ensuring alignment with overall program objectives while engaging C-suite stakeholders.
- Deliver Agile engagements across various programs according to the product landscape to achieve best-in-class outcomes for clients.
- Define the most suitable method for engagement delivery to ensure program or portfolio success.
- Guide the team on product engineering, focusing on evidence-based continuous improvement of value, flow, and quality, with the goal of delivering value to end-customers early and often.
- Assist clients in planning, evolving, and formulating customer-focused digital business transformation (DBT) strategies; facilitate budget planning for value-based DBT engagements.
- Track and evaluate delivery metrics of product teams within the engagement, driving continuous improvement to enhance flow, quality, and value realization.
- Partner with clients to achieve their business transformation goals by advising internal leaders and external senior stakeholders on agile methods, engineering transformation, digital strategy, and innovation frameworks.
- Cultivate a positive team environment promoting autonomy, mastery, and purpose through coaching and individual development, maintaining high-performance standards.
- Foster a culture of value-based delivery, self-organization, and empowerment to maximize client business outcomes created by the team.
- Contribute to developing the Agile Project Management Domain and community through training, mentoring, and sharing best practices.
- Articulate engagement commercial metrics to support account health and facilitate account-level planning within the industry vertical.
- Lead proposal sales efforts, communicating the value proposition effectively.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with a distributed delivery model, leading diverse teams, and collaborating in a multi-cultural environment.
- IT experience in leading high-performing teams within Agile/Scrum/SAFe frameworks in a consulting setting.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding and thought leadership in technology, project delivery, and one or more industry verticals.
- Proven ability to navigate large organizations and influence stakeholders through storytelling and data.
- Experienced in presenting to C-level executives, as well as senior business and technology leaders.
- Knowledgeable about client contexts and engagement guidelines with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Proven expertise in defining, evolving, and executing Agile maturity assessments, along with extensive exposure to various engineering/agile maturity frameworks.
- Familiarity with best practices in design thinking/user-centered design, including user research, hypothesis-driven development, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Strong conflict resolution skills, effective leadership, analytical abilities, and negotiation skills.
