The AI Designer / Creative Technologist is a qualified designer who leverages generative AI tools to create high-quality finished content. This role fuses a designer's mastery of composition, typography, and brand identity with a deep expertise in AI-driven image, video, and audio technologies. Responsibilities include producing campaign visuals, social media content, concept work, and large-scale adaptations to meet the Creative Director's standards. Additionally, this role involves establishing the studio's AI workflows and training colleagues on these tools, all while strictly adhering to the Group's AI usage standards, which prohibit the generation of food and dishes.

Key Accountabilities

Content Creation with AI
- Design and produce finished creative assets utilizing generative AI tools alongside conventional design methods including campaign visuals, social media content, backgrounds, seasonal materials, and motion or short video pieces.
- Integrate AI-generated environments and elements with photographed food, products, and interiors to ensure that every asset reflects the authentic experiences of guests.
- Apply brand guidelines and typography consistently across all AI-assisted assets, meeting the same high standards expected of traditional design work.

Concept and Visualization
- Create concept visuals, mood boards, and mock-ups for campaigns, menus, installations, and new outlets to facilitate agreement on direction prior to production expenditures.
- Visualize shoot concepts for the Photographer/Videographer and Creative Director ahead of photoshoots.

Adaptation and Workflow
- Adapt approved master assets to various channel formats, sizes, languages, and outlets using AI-assisted and automated workflows; deliver comprehensive asset sets to Digital Marketers and outlets.
- Develop prompts, templates, and automations that streamline routine production processes for the entire studio, and document these for future reuse.

Standards and Capability
- Implement the Group's AI standards, which include prohibitions against using generated images of food or dishes, generating likenesses of real individuals without consent, ensuring necessary disclosures, and using rights-cleared tools exclusively.
- Assess AI tools, recommend licenses, and provide training to Designers and the Photographer/Videographer on approved workflows.
- Maintain accurate records of prompts, models, and sources for every released AI-assisted asset.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years of professional design experience, with a portfolio showcasing both traditional design work (layout, typography, brand) and completed content created with generative AI tools.
- Expert hands-on command of current generative image and video tools (e.g., Mid-journey, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, Runway, Kling, or equivalent), including skills in prompt engineering, style consistency, inpainting, and upscaling.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; experience with motion or video editing is a plus, as is scripting or automation expertise.
- Understanding of copyright, model licensing, and disclosure considerations relevant to AI-generated content.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
