AI Engineer — Lead / Senior

The company is seeking Lead and Senior AI Engineers for a banking client in the UAE. The role involves designing and building modern, secure, scalable digital banking channels across mobile, web, tablet, and progressive web application experiences in Dubai.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop production-grade digital banking applications using AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Build responsive web applications utilizing TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and develop native mobile applications using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Work across frontend and backend services, integrating secure backend services and enterprise APIs.
• Ensure applications meet banking-grade standards for performance, usability, security, and reliability.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in building secure, scalable digital products in banking, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Proficient in AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot).
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and mobile development (Swift and Kotlin).
• A solid understanding of secure coding practices and delivery standards, particularly in regulated financial services environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Vue.js, Flutter, and cloud-native development (preferably on Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with identity management, API security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Banking and fintech experience is strongly preferred and considered highly important for this role.
