You will serve as the primary architect and builder of the AI-native finance operating system at the company. This role spans two simultaneous horizons: deploying production automation now and redesigning the finance architecture for the long term. Responsibilities include assessing and mapping finance operations to understand how financial work flows across the organization, and architecting an agentic finance platform by designing its long-term architecture. You will build and deploy production finance automation to automate processes like reconciliations and treasury monitoring, while also owning AI governance for Finance to ensure safety in a SOX-regulated environment. Further, you will create a foundation for AI-native Finance by developing reusable frameworks and documentation for future team members.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and map Finance operations: Evaluate current financial workflows including close, reconciliations, treasury, reporting, controls validation, and audit preparation.
- Architect the agentic finance platform: Design the long-term architecture for an AI-native finance operating system, detailing the interaction between agentic systems and financial infrastructure.
- Build and deploy production finance automation: Implement agentic workflows that automate finance operations.
- Own AI governance for Finance: Establish safety guardrails for automation in a regulated environment.
- Build the foundation for AI-native Finance: Create reusable frameworks and templates for sustainable future development within the finance team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record designing, deploying, and scaling agentic AI systems in production.
- Deep understanding of LLM orchestration and autonomous AI workflows in operational environments.
- Strong systems architecture capability from design to deployment.
- Proficiency in modern AI automation tools like Claude/Anthropic APIs and Python orchestration.
- Solid knowledge of finance operations including close processes and financial reporting.
- Experience with automation in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge finance and technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Finance systems like NetSuite or BlackLine.
- Familiarity with crypto-native financial infrastructure.
Work Conditions:
