As a member of the AI model team, you will be responsible for innovating supervised fine-tuning methodologies for advanced models. Your work will enhance pre-trained models, improving intelligence, performance, and domain-specific capabilities to address real-world challenges. You will work on a range of systems from efficient models suitable for limited hardware to complex multi-modal architectures integrating diverse data types such as text, images, and audio.
We are looking for someone with deep expertise in large language model architectures and substantial experience in fine-tuning optimization. You will be involved in developing, testing, and implementing new techniques and algorithms in a hands-on, research-driven manner. Responsibilities also include curating specialized data, optimizing performance, and removing bottlenecks in the fine-tuning process to unlock superior AI performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art fine-tuning methodologies for pre-trained models.
- Conduct and monitor controlled fine-tuning experiments, tracking key performance indicators.
- Identify and curate high-quality datasets tailored to specific domains.
- Systematically debug the fine-tuning process by analyzing performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy fine-tuned models into production, defining success metrics and ensuring continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field; ideally a PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or similar, with a strong track record in AI R&D.
- Hands-on experience in large-scale fine-tuning experiments, demonstrating measurable improvements in model performance.
- Deep understanding of advanced fine-tuning methodologies, especially with transformer architectures.
- Strong expertise in PyTorch and Hugging Face libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to apply empirical research and overcome fine-tuning bottlenecks.
Language Requirements: Excellent communication skills in English.
