AI Research Lead - LLM & Multimodal Post-Training

As an AI Research Lead, you will play a critical role in scaling post-training efforts and developing innovative solutions for our model development pipeline. Your responsibilities will include driving strategies for post-training methods, designing robust evaluation pipelines, and managing a team of engineers and researchers.

Key Duties:

• Lead the strategy and execution of all post-training initiatives including SFT, RLHF, DPO, and other strategies.
• Design evaluation pipelines to measure model quality and user experience.
• Translate cutting-edge post-training ideas into production-ready methods in collaboration with researchers and engineers.
• Establish best practices for coding, model evaluation, and experimentation.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD, MS, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art post-training projects.
• Over 5 years of experience managing or leading teams of 10+ researchers and engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of the AI product lifecycle.
• Experience in building end-to-end LLM and multimodal models on multi-node GPUs.
• Proficiency in modern deep learning frameworks and libraries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
• Strong track record of delivering innovations in post-training.
• Ability to execute long-term vision and strategies while addressing technical details.

Language Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
