This role is remote-based in the United Arab Emirates.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Design end-to-end AI/ML architectures and scalable systems using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data science, operations) to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions.
- Lead the technical direction of AI initiatives including model selection, data pipeline architecture, deployment strategies, and MLOps practices.
- Evaluate and recommend AI tools, frameworks, cloud services, and infrastructure for production-grade systems.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate AI capabilities and validate solution approaches.
- Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in model fairness, privacy, security, and compliance.
- Mentor data scientists and engineers on best practices in AI architecture and deployment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, research, and emerging technologies in AI and machine learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems.
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services for AI (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI).
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kafka) and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with model evaluation, A/B testing, and monitoring in production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or generative AI models (e.g., LLMs).
- Experience deploying AI models at scale in enterprise environments.
- Certifications in cloud architecture or AI/ML.
