AI Solutions Specialist

About
As an AI Solutions Specialist, you will work directly with customers from the Oil, Gas & Energy and Chemicals industries in KSA to discover, prioritize, and frame AI use cases on top of S/4HANA and the company BTP. You will design and implement end-to-end AI solutions, including data pipelines from the company, model selection/integration (the company Business AI/BTP services), and UI/process integration. You will run agile cycles (PoC → pilot → production), gather user feedback, and drive adoption in real business processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the “bridge” between Riyadh Lab customers and global the company Product & Engineering, feeding requirements, gaps, and patterns into the roadmap.
• Produce reusable accelerators (reference architectures, templates, best practices) that can be scaled across KSA and the region.
• Translate business challenges into clear technical designs and deliver end-to-end, production-ready solutions.
• Lead discovery sessions, deliver demos, and explain technical trade-offs in business terms while confidently working directly with customers.
• Collaborate closely with global teams and stay motivated by creating real, measurable impact for customers.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background (e.g., Python/Java/TypeScript) with hands-on experience in the company BTP, integrations, and at least one major the company domain (finance, supply chain, HR, public sector).
• Solid grounding in data and AI/ML concepts (data modeling, APIs, common AI patterns such as forecasting, classification, copilots/assistants).
• End-to-end process knowledge of relevant fundamental Oil & Gas processes such as Asset Management, Finance, Procurement, Logistics in Up-, Mid- and Downstream.
• Confidence in customer-facing work: conducting discovery workshops, demos, and managing challenging stakeholders.
• Ability to operate like a “forward-deployed” engineer with high ownership, ambiguity tolerance, and motivation by real impact at customers.
