About the Role
We are seeking AI Voice Recording Contributors to join an Arabic (Gulf) voice evaluation project and support the development of the next generation of AI technologies. This freelance role allows you to work from home with a flexible schedule, engaging in approximately 4–6 hours of task-based work per day for about one month, starting immediately. The compensation for this project is 11 USD/hour.

This project provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of speech and language AI technologies through high-quality voice recordings in your native language and dialect. You will fulfill recording tasks by reading provided text prompts aloud. The objective is to capture natural speech from native speakers of specific language variants, aiding AI systems in understanding diverse languages, dialects, and accents.
How Your Recordings Will Be Used
Your recordings will be evaluated to assess agent responses to spoken instructions, which will be compared to evaluations of text-based instructions. The collected audio may be reviewed for quality and used in datasets for research, development, testing, and enhancement of AI systems.
What You’ll Do
- Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written (approximately 640 cards per person).
- Produce clear, natural, and high-quality speech recordings while adhering to the provided guidelines and instructions.
- Speak using your natural dialect and accent.
- Ensure no words are added, omitted, or altered in your recordings.
- Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
- Complete tasks using our internal recording platform.
What We’re Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Arabic (Gulf).
- Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent.
- Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
- Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
- Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own.
- Experience with speech recording projects is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain recording accuracy.
