Requirements
- 7 – 10 years of experience in AI/ML with proven hands-on delivery experience in banking, financial institutions, or insurance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, preferably BE in Computer Science & Engineering
- Professional Training in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, MLOps, AI in Financial Services
- Professional Certifications: Google Professional ML Engineer, Microsoft AI Engineer Associate, TensorFlow Developer Certificate, AWS Certified Machine Learning
Must-Have
- Several years of ML experience with implemented use cases in Gen AI solutions such as chatbots and document analysis
- Hands-on work experience primarily in banking, financial institutions, or insurance industries
Core AI / NLP Engineering
- Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, etc.)
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT, prompt tuning)
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma)
- Skills in prompt engineering and orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, DSPy)
- Understanding of embeddings, tokenization, and transformer architecture
- Familiarity with cloud AI tools: AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch
- Experience in model evaluation: hallucination detection, grounding, and benchmarking (BLEU, ROUGE, TruthfulQA, etc.)
Software Engineering & Backend Integration
- Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, webhooks
- Proficiency in containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
- Experience with authentication and user/session management
- Understanding of data pipelines and microservices
- Familiarity with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, NestJS, or Express
- Integration with enterprise data systems (SharePoint, Salesforce, SQL, internal APIs)
