Aircraft Technical Systems Engineer (Avionics/Electrical)

About the Role

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of aircraft types, electrical systems, and avionics. Your role is crucial in proposing technical solutions that guarantee optimal availability and high reliability of the company's aircraft. You will act with precision, drawing upon your technical background in aircraft technology. In collaboration with the Technical Support Engineer, you will support continuous airworthiness by recommending the implementation of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Requirements from a technical perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finding, evaluating, and initiating product improvements.
• Monitoring reliability.
• Reviewing and prioritizing deferred defects.
• Revising ETOPS manuals and updating CMP compliance.
• Reviewing technical publications and making recommendations (AAR, SB, SL, etc.).
• Making recommendations for retrofit programs.
• Solving technical problems and coordinating with the company's layovers.
• Providing troubleshooting and AOG technical support.
• Executing special projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent apprenticeship in a Technical Profession, or a holder of a Part 66 License.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a Systems or Support Engineer, focusing on Maintenance Management and Aviation IT Systems.
• Comprehensive aviation knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
