Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize supervised and unsupervised learning models including classification, regression, and clustering.
- Conduct model training, validation, evaluation, and performance tuning.
- Implement and manage large language models (LLMs) such as GPT or Claude, with a focus on prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Build conversational AI/chatbots and document processing systems to streamline workflows.
- Develop RESTful APIs to integrate AI models with enterprise systems.
- Handle large datasets, especially within healthcare and genomics.
- Utilize AWS services, including SageMaker, NextFlow, Bedrock, Lambda, and S3 for AI model deployment, monitoring, and scaling in production environments.
- Design and maintain data preprocessing pipelines to manage both structured and unstructured data.
- Work with microservices architectures, API-first design principles, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control systems like Git.
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and API integrations in .NET applications, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs to support project needs.
- Collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain complex technical AI concepts.
- Support production systems and critical AI deployments, providing operational support as necessary.
Requirements
- Proficient in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, with practical experience in MLOps practices, Docker/containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of software architecture in .NET, including authentication/security concepts and cloud-based deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on detail and team collaboration.
- Experience with healthcare, licensing, or insurance domain systems is a plus.
- Ability to work within structured project frameworks, akin to government or RFP environments.
