About the Role:
The Alternate Site Manager co-manages the day-to-day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services in accordance with contract requirements. This role involves overseeing support services, supervising skilled workers, and ensuring compliance with performance standards. The Alternate Site Manager will also have the authority to act on behalf of the Site Manager during their absence.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage support services and labor force for assigned location.
- Co-manage a team of skilled workers across multiple departments, ensuring all contract requirements are met per the Performance Work Statement.
- Schedule personnel and supervise work to comply with quality and safety standards.
- Communicate new requirements, concerns, and issues to the Site Manager/PMO for resolution.
- Provide leadership for effective contract performance, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
- Address and manage employee issues as they arise.
- Supervise equipment and materials within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Submit timely reports and keep management apprised of operational status.
- Serve in the Site Manager's absence, with full authority to manage daily contract operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring timely completion of tasks within specified quality standards.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience required.
- At least eight (8) years of experience in areas such as facilities operations, logistics, maintenance, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
- Experience working with US government/military personnel and host nation military personnel.
- NFPA certification and knowledge of NFPA requirements essential.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Ability to staff and manage a diverse workforce of over 40 personnel.
- Willingness to work shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make effective decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines, adapting to a fast-paced work environment.
- Must have or be able to obtain a SECRET US Government Clearance, as well as maintain a valid state driver’s license and US passport.
- Must pass medical contract requirements and maintain compliance during deployment.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military training is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing personnel in a military environment or on a government contract overseas is preferred.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- Typical office environment with occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds), constant sitting at a computer, and mental alertness required.
- Frequent visits to various work sites exposing the candidate to outside elements.
- Planning and organizing skills necessary to meet deadlines and collaborate appropriately with others, including government personnel.
