The SCOT Forecasting and Labs team is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager with a strong ability to influence multiple organizations and drive innovation. In this role, you will develop and execute the long-term product vision for established use cases within our evolving demand landscape and supply chain capabilities, as well as green-field forecasting products that inform design, manufacturing, and procurement processes. You will also develop a strategy to accelerate our ability to experiment and launch products by integrating scientific innovation, technical projects, and process improvements. This position involves collaborating closely with product leaders, scientists, and software engineers to transform Amazon's supply chain, especially in our newer businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the 3-5 year vision for supply chain technology products based on customer problems, collaborating with scientists and engineering teams.
  • Drive strategic communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals.
  • Build trust and influence stakeholders from various organizations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities based on customer needs in the supply chain and business units.
  • Experiment with and scale new products and models from prototype to production globally.
  • Dive into technical solutions and alternatives to pinpoint areas of opportunity, defects, and customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and product trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition.
  • End-to-end product delivery experience.
  • Involvement in engineering discussions regarding technology decisions and strategy.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Ability to represent and advocate for diverse stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting statistical analysis using SQL, Excel, or other tools.
  • Experience in building and driving the adoption of new tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Amazon offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, alongside a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
