Amazon MENATR Marketplace Economic Leader

The company MENATR Marketplace is looking for a passionate, analytically strong, and innovative leader to help define and set economic conditions for the success of our Selling Partners and for the company. This role will directly impact all sellers (existing and potential) who wish to offer products to customers in the region. An ideal candidate will have the business judgment to understand the impact of their recommendations on seller economics and trade-offs to the company's business. This role requires you to be a motivated self-starter with curiosity to learn, excellent analytical skills, superior written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. He/she will have a strong bias toward data-driven decision-making and will work closely with Business, Finance, Tech, and other Fee team(s) around the world to deliver their charter.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and apply economic frameworks to evaluate modifications to fee structures and their magnitudes. Communicate trade-offs to ensure prioritization of the most critical and impactful work.
• Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
• Partner with Business, Finance, Operations, Legal, Tech, and other global fee teams to understand their pain points and emerging priorities. Ensure fee strategy and execution align with wider business priorities and drive alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with Fee teams across other marketplaces to share learnings and develop common frameworks and mechanisms.
• Develop and improve solutions to drive efficiencies in the fee-setting process (business assessments, fee change execution, and monitoring/audit) and improve seller experience and clarity on fee-related topics.
• Report key insights and trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy storylines.
• Participate in periodic reviews with the company's Executive Leadership team.
