Amazon Now Business Analyst, Strategic Initiatives

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-obsessed Business Analyst to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting strategic initiatives and operational improvements by finding and analyzing data, identifying trends, and translating business needs into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write queries, compile data, and generate reports utilizing technologies such as RedShift, RDS (MySQL, MSSQL), Spectrum, and ETL.
• Tell a story based on the data, propose insights, and see actions through to the finish on those insights.
• Work across various teams with fellow Business Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers to prioritize the right work and deliver on it.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of data analytics or automation experience.
• 1+ years of complex Excel VBA macro writing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience gathering business requirements, using industry-standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
• Experience with SQL or ETL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation.
• Experience working with large, complex data sets.
