Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and assess contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to executive management and business functions on regulatory, governance, and legal matters.
  • Prepare legal, governance, and compliance reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and promote governance best practices across the organization.
  • Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting documentation, and maintenance of official records and minutes.
  • Manage shareholder communications, respond to inquiries, and ensure transparent disclosure of relevant information.
  • Review proposed regulations, amendments, and governance requirements, providing legal analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders on governance, compliance, and legal matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or law.
  • Experience in commercial reporting, governance, or compliance roles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues with a focus on continuous improvement.
