Key Accountabilities
Corporate Strategic Planning
- Assist in developing divisional Strategic Objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and initiatives via the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) system.
- Contribute to the development and verification of the Five Year Strategic Plan to ensure alignment with corporate strategic imperatives.
- Help draft guidelines for the Five Year Plan to maintain a consistent structure and quality of content.
- Collect and analyze corporate data to prepare the Five Year Business Plan for management and stakeholders.
- Review and compare Business Plans for alignment and consistency with previous plans.
- Validate data for long-term planning purposes.
- Provide input for performance analysis presentations related to the Five Year Business Plan for Shareholders and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members.
Strategic Business Performance Management
- Assist in developing and implementing the Corporate Balanced Scorecard to reinforce alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
- Conduct analyses, comment, and update the Balanced Scorecard System regularly for management to track corporate performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and ensure compliance within the division.
Supervision
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop assigned staff in relevant skills to enhance proficiency and achieve section objectives.
Budgets
- Provide input for the preparation of Department/Section budgets and aid in implementing approved budgets to meet section objectives.
- Investigate and highlight significant variances for effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implement approved Department/Section policies, processes, systems, and procedures that align with company and international standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legislation.
Performance Management
- Contribute to achieving the approved Performance Objectives for the Department/Section in accordance with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to enhance workflow quality and efficiency.
- Identify internal process improvements relative to best practices to optimize efficiency and develop intelligent solutions.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Adhere to relevant HSE policies, procedures, and controls aligned with international standards and best practices.
Reports
- Provide inputs for Section Management Information System (MIS) and progress reports for company management.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Strategic Management or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Strategic Planning within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
