Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and define any gaps.
- Write test cases to cover the requirements.
- Execute test cases and report defects with severity and priority.
- Perform manual testing execution.
- Automation testing experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is expected; knowledge of other languages can be an advantage.
