Analyst II Software Engineering

As an Analyst II Software Engineering at DXC Technology, you will play a vital role in contributing to software development projects. Your key responsibilities will include writing, testing, and debugging code under the guidance of senior team members, collaborating with the team to meet project objectives by actively participating in code reviews and design discussions, and assisting in documenting software requirements and specifications for clear communication. You will participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with mentorship support, learn and adapt to various software development practices through active participation in training programs, and contribute to implementing best practices and emerging technologies. Additionally, you will work with team members to enhance your understanding of software architecture and design while promoting a knowledge-sharing and learning environment within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 1+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
• Basic coding and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the field.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training are also advantageous.
