Analyst II Software Engineering

About the Job: This position requires an Analyst II in Software Engineering to contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, under the guidance of senior team members. The role involves collaborating with the team to meet project objectives, actively participating in code reviews and design discussions, and assisting in the documentation of software requirements. You will also participate in troubleshooting technical issues and learn software development practices while contributing to best practices and emerging technologies. This is an on-site, full-time role located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Essential Job Functions:

• Write, test, and debug code for software development projects.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project objectives, including participating in code reviews and design discussions.
• Document software requirements and specifications for clear communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance from mentors.
• Learn and adapt to software development practices, participating in training programs.
• Implement best practices and explore emerging technologies.
• Enhance understanding of software architecture through collaboration with team members.
• Foster a knowledge-sharing and learning environment within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Basic coding and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or training are advantageous.
