Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and negotiate financial solutions in response to client needs, collaborating with transactors to develop proposals.
- Prepare and negotiate term sheets, vet underlying commercial contracts, and interface with legal counsel to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate operational aspects of products to minimize risks, ensure smooth drawdowns, and assist in risk management through credit analysis and pre-screening memos.
- Maintain knowledge of local regulations and industry changes to keep the business ahead of regulatory demands.
- Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct, embedding ethical practices in every aspect of the role.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven risk management and strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a global, multi-functional environment with a focus on client needs and proactive solution development.
- Experience in banking with exposure to clients in Africa or the Middle East and knowledge of Trade products.
Qualifications:
- Basic Structured Trade knowledge and experience in managing deal lifecycles.
- Exposure to ECA, Insurance, Syndications, and risk participation.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and drive results.
