The Analyst - Systems Administration will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related Windows infrastructure. This includes managing workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software, with a focus on Cloud Support and Cloud infrastructure monitoring in Azure/AWS/G42.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT operations, Windows Administration, server patching, vulnerability remediation, OS hardening, and performance tuning.
- Support and monitor cloud infrastructure in Azure, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Resource Groups, Storage, and basic networking.
- Troubleshoot and analyze logging information for performance reporting.
- Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning.
- Manage active directory infrastructure, including Group Policy and troubleshooting authentication issues.
- Maintain Microsoft Exchange environments (on-prem and hybrid) and administer Microsoft 365 services.
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Ensure security configurations and troubleshooting for on-prem and cloud servers.
- Collaborate with teams to develop automation strategies and manage workload integrations across environments.
Qualifications:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Certified Administrator AZ-104, AZ-900.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience as Wintel or Cloud administrator.
- Certifications: MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect), MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure), Microsoft MCSA (Windows Server 2012R2, 2016), Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL foundation certification.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, and AWS.
- Hands-on knowledge of Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Hybrid Cloud.
- Previous experience in help desk support, 24x7 managed services, or Network Operations Center environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, networking subnetting, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with Azure-based deployments or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Language Requirements:
English proficiency is typically required for communication and documentation purposes.
